I can see my state of Washington doing the same thing since A we like to emulate CA and B we would be the alternative west coast ports to CA. So then all the Chinese junk we import will have to transit Panama and then come in thru ports in the Gulf or Mexico and then be diesel trucked across the border. All good for the environment I’m sure. To say nothing about how bad for the environment cargo ships and bunker oil is.
