Too right. There are a lot of me. And women who’ve returned to the church/synagogue to escape the dating rat race.

An interesting stat: only 15 percent of women who divorce re-marry. Most of those 75 percent are single mothers. How great is that?

As a twice divorced male, that’s all I’m gong to say about that. But I will point - as I have in a previous post -Viagra is just as much of a game changer as the pill. Over to Perplexity:

According to data from the National Survey of Family Growth, the median age at first marriage for men born in the 1950s was 26, while for men born in the 1980s, it was 30, and for men born in the 1990s, it is projected to be 35.

Additionally, the fraction of men never married at age 44 was 18% for men born in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, but it is projected to increase to 30% for men born in the 1980s and 37% for men born in the 1990s.

Yeah, this is what is freaking me out: my youngest son has never been married, he’s 32, was engaged to marry one girl, and then she cheated on him. Now I don’t know if he’ll ever get married and it really worries me because I know he would be happier having a family. my solution: every time I go out to a restaurant or a store, if I meet a semi-attractive, young woman, I tell her that I am looking for a wife for my son. If she seems interested, I give her a business card with my son’s picture and his phone number. I tell her to text him and say that she met his crazy dad. Don’t know if this works but since he’s not trying anything, it’s my last hope for grandchildren.

It pays to advertise! But really, shouldn't he be doing his own marketing? Does he WANT a life partner?

Robert, kinda like you’re saying in the article, he’s kind of given up.
